The model number for a Fan-Tastic RV roof vent is often found on a sticker on the top side of the fan, so you may have to carefully traverse to the top of your RV roof and open up the lid to find it. Here are the options for an Ultra-Breeze vent cover:
- Fan-Tastic Ultra Breeze Trailer Roof Vent Cover - White # FVU1500WH
- Fan-Tastic Ultra Breeze Trailer Roof Vent Cover - Black # DMC38FR view full answer...
On MaxxAir MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus roof vent fans manufactured in 2015 or newer they began adding the tabs allowing you to easily clip on either their MaxxAir II RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover # MA26JR or the MaxxAir FanMate RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover # MA00-955003. These are both the smoke versions for each cover. These both can still be used on older fans which do not already have the raised tabs as they include brackets to fit other vents. view full answer...
The MaxxAir FanMate RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover # MA00-955001 will not connect to the Installation Hardware for MaxxAir II RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover.
This is due to the covers being different sizes and therefore the mounts in the FanMate are not as long as the MaxxAir II mounts.
The FanMate is designed to clip on to the MaxxAir MaxxFan's that have the quick attach mounting tabs already included on their fans produced since 2015. So if you have those vents then you can utilize... view full answer...
Have you tried checking the air draw when the cover is off of the vent? I would try that first to verify that the problem is the vent cover and not just the fan speed. 188 CFM isn't really a high volume so it could very well be just the nature of the fan. view full answer...
Sorry but I am not seeing anything in our inventory that fits that description. Our replacement domes like the FanTastic RV Roof Vents item # FVK1020-19 are organized by the part number of the vent assembly they go with. If you could find a part number on your vent assembly I would be happy to try to find a replacement lid. Feel free to email me directly or comment below. I hope to hear from you. view full answer...
Hey Greg, so I don't have great news but I reached out to my contact at Fan-Tastic Vent and the 6600R-417 unit no longer has a rectangular remote replacement available. I also confirmed that the Replacement Digital Remote Control for Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent with 12V Fan # FV9068-09 is not compatible. They recommend replacing the entire unit with the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote - Powered Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" # FV807350.
Then for a vent cover the Dometic part #... view full answer...
To add a rain cover to the MaxxAir MaxxFan Mini Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan item # MA00-04301M, you will want the MaxxAir FanMate RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover Smoke item # MA00-955003 or item White # MA00-955001.
The integrated mounting brackets on the FanMate line up with the mounting tabs that are molded onto the flange of the roof vent. view full answer...
Hey Bruce, for a replacement Fan-Tastic brand RV roof vent I really like the part # FV803350 as it has a variable speed, reversible fan, a built in thermostat, power lid lift, and a rain sensor to auto close it in case it starts raining.
The only option that is a little nicer is the part # FV807350 which comes with a remote you can use to control it.
If you were wanting something more economical we have the # FV802250 which is similar to the first fan I mentioned except it has a manual... view full answer...

Hey Devon, does your RV roof vent wall control unit look like the # MA59FR? If so you have a MaxxFan Plus RV roof vent that was designed for wall control and for a replacement unit you would want the part # MA00-04500K to use a setup that would use same wall control and wall control wiring. Otherwise you'd have to go with this same unit and also swap out the wall controller. view full answer...
Hey Randy,
It is definitely possible that with the replacement of the lift motor to part # FVK6010-80 that it wasn't tightened up exactly the same as the previous motor, causing the gears to not engage. You'd have to take a look at the mounting bracket and see if maybe it's bent or if you could potentially bend it (if metal) a bit closer for the gears to lock together. Replacing the lift arm # FVK8011-05 might also be the solution here if it's been worn down a bit. view full answer...
Since we do not actually have any direct replacement lids for your Fan-Tastic DFV100 you'd have to use a universal lid to replace yours. With that said, you can use the MaxxAir UniMaxx Universal Replacement Lid for RV and Trailer Roof Vent # MA00-335002 for a translucent smoke color or # MA00-335001 for translucent white color.
Also, both of these lids measure 15-1/2" long x 14-3/4" wide x 3-1/2" tall and include the mounting hardware for installation. view full answer...
Hey Ronald, the correct fan motor is the part # BCD0388-00 for your V2262-50C and the correct fan blade is # BVA0312-00.The fan blade is a friction fit so you'd need to press it onto the motor. view full answer...
A rotary tool would work best for trimming the garnish on your RV roof vent, like the Dometic FanTastic Vent Roof Vent # FV807350. If you don't have a rotary tool then you could likely use something like tin snips (heavy duty scissors) instead. It would be beneficial to smooth off anything you cut with something like sand paper or a smaller file just so that if you ever need to remove the garnish for repairs that's one less thing you have to think about. view full answer...
Hey Paul, yes we do. You can use the Replacement MaxxFan Plus 4-Speed Roof Vent with White Lid # MA00-04751KSX to replace your current fan and will work with your original controller and garnish. view full answer...
The MaxxAir MaxxFan Mini Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00-04401M you mention is not reversible and will exhaust air only. If you're looking for a fan that IS reversible, I recommend the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat # FV802250. This fan has 3 speed levels, and a tinted vent cover. view full answer...
Hey Tim, so the great news is that the RV AC units like the Advent Air # ACM150 that you referenced were designed to fit this size roof opening. What you would need though is a unit that comes with a vent assembly as well with the part # ACM135C. view full answer...
Hey Earl, thanks for reaching out!
I recommend checking out the Dometic FanTastic Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote # FV807350 which sits 4-1/2" above your roof line, or the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07000K which sits 5" above your roof line.
The Dometic vent looks like a standard vent and has the rain sensor on it like what you mentioned, but the advantage of the MaxxFan is that it has a cover over the vent so it can be left open while it's raining as well as while you're traveling... view full answer...
You could use the Greystone Over the Range RV Microwave # 324-000135 which is a tad bit bigger but it does have a built in two speed exhaust fan.
This microwave requires a 30" wide x 16 1/2" tall cutout, and has 1.6 cubic feet of cooking space. view full answer...
